Education – "The knowledge or skill obtained or developed by a learning process". The learning process is what IILM stands out for, with its par excellence members of the faculty and most modern infrastructure the quality of learning is unmatched. I personally feel that with the course structure as of IILM and the exposure given to students, learning is immense, which is not available with Delhi University students or with other institutes.

The combination of theory with projects (case-studies etc) not only provides students theoretical aspects of business world but also enlightens the students with the practicalities attached with the real world. After graduating from IILM, I feel more adaptable to the work environments and my scope of vision has increased by many folds, which I am sure will help me in achieving my ambition. |

Looking back on my three years as a student at IILM, I can see a spectrum of growth and self-realization that has been unlike any other that I have experienced. My experience at IILM was a highly memorable one, so much so that I insisted my brother and cousin also get educated there. The kind of education we received there is sort that will stay with us for life. The subjects themselves were different and interesting but that is not what makes IILM. unique. It is the efforts of the faculty of inculcate in us the properties they felt were essential to good management that is special about the college. We were taught how to make presentations which built in us self confidence and communication style, were always expected to dress well which all managers must, were taught the importance of research and analysis and always encouraged to find our own solutions and explore our minds. The most fun part of college was the projects we would get assigned.
It was only after graduation that I truly understood how important a good education is. Once I started working with my father, I realized I was applying the things I had learnt at IIL.M on a daily basis. From the very beginning, I found it easy to work among people with 20 years work experience and assert my thoughts and view. I had the self confidence to make decisions and this I learnt at college. I am now a successful exporter of accessories and supply to many international brands. I plan to keep expanding my business and hopefully will soon be supplying to all the international brands. |

Its been 4 years since we left IILM, Entering IILM was like entering a Platform, platform of practicalities, platform of experience, platform to enter Business world, it has taught us how to survive in the upcoming business world, how to create your own market, how to be leaders in any field we enter, & has taught us how to be confident and presentable in the corporate world. |
When we were at IILM, while learning we never use to think that what we are being thought by our faculty will be beneficial to us later, at that time we use to think that ‘y we learning all this' but now in the practical world, when we face some typical business situations all that which was taught to us earlier when now is implemented gives us huge success in our business.Whatever we learnt at IILM, which we now implement in our practical life, is what is giving us path to success and way to grow ourselves in whichever road we have chosen.
We are proud to be products of IILM as we have always succeeded in whichever field we have entered, it has taught us to talk, to present, to sustain, to market, to capture, to grow.It has shaped us to move successfully and confidently in the corporate world making us capable of capturing the entire corporate market successfully. |

I am Parmeet Singh, BBMS Class of ' 99 , the coveted first batch of the
Undergraduate School. I call it “coveted”, as we got the privilege of doing things which were a FIRST for IILM and in the process became the batch who are teachers still remember-mostly for the right reasons. IILM was never about only academics, it was more about Total Personality Development and that the effect of that echoes in my working style today. I today head an exponentially fast growing Automobile Components manufacturing organization which produces parts for Global OEM's including the BIG THREE (GM, Ford, Daimler Chrysler). We have grown 12 times in the last 6 years and are today recognized throughout the world as one of the leading Rubber Component manufacturer from India which has proven its ability to compete with the World not only in price but also QUALITY & SERVICE.
My skills at International Marketing as a subject and the extra curricular enrichment to go with it lend me confidence to knock the biggest doors in the world, share the Dias with people who are “Captains of the Industry' and to be able to convince Seniors Managements of Global Companies to think about looking at India as their sourcing hub and our company as a strategic partner and I have no hesitation in accepting that a large part of this- I owe to IILM.

Studying at IILM (Jaipur), I got the best opportunity I could ever ask for and that was broadening of education and introduction to realities and complexities of international business. The B.Sc (Hons.) in Business and Management Studies course not only helps the students to use and apply the assignments given in actual job situation but also provides a solid framework for solving business problems and making sound decisions. The option of taking a transfer to the University of Bradford (England) any time during the course gave me a chance to study with students of various nationalities having different cultures and experiences and to be acquainted with the lifestyle in United Kingdom, which is totally dissimilar from ours. This helped me in developing network with people from all over the world. IILM and University of Bradford have been a mesmerizing place to learn and I will always reflect warmly on my experience here. |

I chose IILM for my graduation because of its professional faculty and to gain a foreign degree. It helped me get a flavor of international system of education and provide solid foundation for doing Masters in UK.
A golden opportunity came in form of my selection as 1 of the 2 students chosen out of 150 to represent IILM at the University of Bradford, UK. This scholarship helped me gain exposure on an international level. |
I am a firm believer who doesn't believe in just answering what IILM has done for but also put forward what I have done for IILM.
Being a popular student, I have organized various big events at the institute which have been highly acclaimed by staff and students alike. These include IILM's 1 st Blood Donation Camp, the 1 st Vivekananda Debate, Freshers Party 2003, Juniors vs. Seniors Cricket match, Indo-Dutch Exchange and the glamorous Fashion Show at Mosaic 2003. These events not only gave IILM a stand in top B-schools but also made me realize my organizing capabilities which help me till date to organize activities in my daily life. to take my relationship with IILM to a further level, I am pleased to be chosen as the batch representative – 2004 for the IILM Alumni Association. |
