Quiz and Debating Society

IILM Quizzing & Debating Society aims at enhancing the student’s ability to think and articulate their views logically and effectively. Quizzing enables to enhance our information and have fun at the same time. Debating is the art of developing skills like confidence to speak in front of public, ability to present an argument persuasively, the respect for others, sense of timing, to prioritize the material that needs to be delivered, the flexibility to react quickly to new ideas, and to remain unflustered in crises. It encourages students to spend time in doing something more constructive to learn, discover and communicate with others.

IILM Quizzing & Debating society is student driven. The students from all the three stages are its active members. The following are the objectives of the society:

To organize in house quizzing and debating events every month

To participate in intra-campus and inter college events

Society has been running the Quiz and Debating society successfully and making all of us proud by bringing many laurels to IILM in the last semester of 2009. Winning the intra IILM quiz held at Gurgaon Campus and getting the 2nd position in ‘ifest’ are just a few highlights of our society.

To continue in the same rhythm, the society has various activities planned on a weekly basis at 1.00 p.m. on every Thursday. Following are the activities planned for this semester on the weekly basis.
