Sensational Fridays – The Film Club
The IILM Film Club, "Sensational Fridays" is an organization dedicated to showcase movies that will rarely be seen on television or movie theaters. The objective of Sensational Fridays is to encourage students in the study of cinema as art. It will not only be a venue for entertainment but an opportunity for members to explore films that will challenge and expand their critical abilities.
These are movies with a difference as they exclusively deal with business or economics-related themes from the early days of cinema. The film club therefore strives to show club members movies that may not be seen popularly from other platforms as they deal with relevant situations (The Great Depression of the 1930s, Game theory, the current global recession, family business and much more).
Movies like, Wall Street, the Godfather, Rome-Open City, The Bicycle Thief, A Beautiful Mind and many more, have relevance to what the wannabe Business Management students study.
We are taking a determined step forward to formally enlist members who wish to be part of the film society movement that dedicates itself to show films which will forever change the movie going experience.
