SUNSHINE appeals the IILM fraternity to follow Earth Hour to be held on Saturday, 27th March from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 P.M.(local time).

Earth Hour is a global event organized by WWF (World Wide Fund) and is held on the last Saturday of March annually, asking households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and other electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change.

Earth Hour 2010 will continue to be a global call to action to every individual, every business and every community. A call to stand up, to show leadership and be responsible for our future.

Visit to Blind School by Sunshine Members

The trip to “the Blind Relief Association, Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg, New Delhi” took place on 5th March 2010 at 11.30 AM under the aegis of Social Service Club- Sunshine. Our two members Ms. Neha Sarna and Ms. Nikita Kumar from UG-III had taken the lead for organising the event and they approached the Blind Relief Association to take an appointment for the visit. The vist was a combined initiative of PG and UG students. Our faculty Co-ordinator was Dr. Sangeeta Yadav.
