SPORTS SOCIETY OF IILM UBS

Students need to be physically fit for their all round development and the IILM UBS sports society is aimed at achieving the same The society offers both indoor and outdoor sports to the students. Basketball, soccer and cricket are few prominent sports played by the students. The society also holds regular matches for outdoor sports. Besides that students also partcipate in inter and intra college competitions. In addition to this facilities for indoor sports such as table tennis, carrom and chess are also available for students in the sports room that is located in the basement of the campus building.

The sports society is indeed a student driven and sportingly managed by them. As evident, the first step in formation of sports society was actively initiated by students by forming basketball team and also designed their kits for the same. Colleges like PGDAV, Zakir Hussain from the Delhi University were invited to play matches with our team. The basketball tournament was held as part of college I-fest wherein eight teams participated and the IILM UBS was the proud winner with Jamia as first runners up.

The IILM UBS sports society holds intra-college matches regularly. It also intends to involve more participation from students within the college and outside the college for various competitions in the near future
