Prof. Gabriel talked about emotional Intelligence. He stated that EI is the capacity to be aware of, control and express

one’s emotions and to handle interpersonal relationship judiciously and empathetically. The students were keen to knowabout the EI keys for professional and personal success.The four core abilities and five competencies were understood in order to manage feelings and express effectively.

Guest lecture by Foreign Faculty- Prof. Rania Nafea (University of Seneca) was conducted at IILM Institute of Higher Education.

Prof. Rania Nafea from Seneca College, Canada was at IILM Institute of Higher Education to deliver lecture on International Business Strategy. During her session on International Business Strategy , the mega trends in International business and how globalisation is impacting the businesses were discussed.  Other important topics such as FDI in global environment, Porter’s 5 force model, Internal organization: resources, capabilities, core competencies and competitive advantage were keenly understood during guest lecture.  Dilemmas in working across cultures was taken with cases.
